What's new
Every WAX organization now has an Activity log: a running record of who did what, from where, and when. It lives under Settings → Organization → Activity log, and is visible to organization admins only.
Think of it as a security camera for your WAX account, not to police your team, but so that when something unexpected happens (a campaign got paused, a member's role changed, an integration got disconnected), you don't have to guess who did it or ask around.
Why it matters
Accountability: If a campaign went out that shouldn't have, or a WhatsApp settings changed, you can see exactly which teammate did it and when.
Security: Suspicious login? A password reset nobody asked for? MFA turned off? It's all in the log, with the IP address, approximate location, and device/browser (user agent) attached.
Compliance: If you're being audited, or a customer/partner asks "who has access to our data and what have they done," this is your answer. Entries can never be edited or deleted, by anyone, including WAX staff.
Onboarding & offboarding hygiene: See exactly when someone joined, what role they were given, and whether their access was ever changed.
What gets tracked
The log covers meaningful, state-changing actions across the platform. Not page views or routine auto-saves. That includes:
Sign-ins & security: logins (including via SSO), MFA setup and verification, password resets, session sign-outs, MFA requirement changes for the org
Members: invites, someone joining, role changes, removals
Organization settings: general settings changes, WhatsApp credentials updates, API token rotation, webhook creation/edits/deletion
Campaigns & automations: created, updated, scheduled, sent, paused, duplicated, deleted, stats reset, recipient exports
Templates: created, updated, duplicated, deleted
Audience: contact lists (and segments) created/updated/deleted, imports and exports, contact deletion, opt-in changes
Integrations: connected, disconnected, settings updated
Billing: subscription/add-on cancellations, payment method and billing address updates
Channels: WhatsApp numbers added/updated/removed, RCS and SMS agent changes
AI agent: configuration updates, trial activation, knowledge sources added/removed
How to use it
Filter by user, by action (grouped by category, e.g. "Campaigns," "Members"). There's also a free-text search that matches on the person's name/email,the affected item, or an exact IP address.
Each row shows who acted, what they did, on what (e.g. "Updated campaign), and when.
Click any row to open the full details: exact timestamp, IP address, approximate location, browser/device, and any other relevant details for that specific event.
Need to share it or dig in offline? Download CSV exports your current filtered view (up to 10,000 rows). Note: the export itself is logged too, for the same accountability reasons.
A few things worth knowing
Only organization admins can see the activity log. Regular members don't have access to it.
We never log the content of what changed. For example, if a contact's edited, you'll see that it happened and who did it, but not the old/newvalues.
Actions taken by WAX support on your account (for example, while helpinp in the log too, marked with a WAX badge, so you always know when it was your team versus ours.
Members' profile pages now also show a Last activity column, pulled froan quickly spot dormant accounts.
The log is append-only, once written, an entry can't be altered or removed by anyone, which is what makes it useful as an actual audit trail rather than just an activity feed.
