Keep track of everything that's gone into a site study. The Project tab of the Content Library lists the usages, flows, blocks, apps, layouts, layers, and files already in the project you have open, so you can see what's there, reuse it, and clear out what you don't need.
What's on the Project tab
Choose a type from the Content Type list:
Click an item to open its details in place. Click the breadcrumb to get back to the list.
A Space shows fewer content types. The Content Library overview lists them.
Hover actions
Hover over an item on the Project tab to show its actions. The actions depend on the content type:
Layers have zoom to bounds, show legend, and open data table.
Flows have flow preview, eyedrop to selection, and draw with flow.
Blocks have block preview, eyedrop to selection, and draw with block.
Usages have eyedrop to selection, draw with usage, and Clone.
Rename an item
Double-click the name of a flow, block, usage, or layout to rename it. Press Enter to save or Esc to cancel. Clicking away also saves the new name.
Edit content in your project
Open an item from the Project tab, then change it where it lives:
Edit a usage to update the assumptions behind it, like costs and unit mix.
Edit a flow in the flow builder with Edit in builder.
Edit a block to change every copy of it at once.
Switch to a layout with Activate layout, then rearrange its panels.
Configure and share your workspace’s apps from Home.
Edit a layer’s details from the Manage Layer menu.
Manage project attachments from the attachment's details.
Add new content
Click New to create content in the project. With one type selected, the button names it, like New Flow. On Files & Attachments, the button reads Upload….
Create a new usage for a building type or land use.
Start a new flow from a template or a blank canvas.
Create a block you can reuse across the site.
Add a layout to arrange your panels a new way.
Attach a file to this project only with Upload… > Attachment.
Upload a file you can share between projects with Upload… > File.
Create an app hosted in your workspace.
Enterprise plans can also add a portfolio layer. The App option shows when your workspace allows app creation.
To bring in content that already exists elsewhere, use the Workspace or Marketplace tab. You can also add an app from the App Library.
Remove content from the project
Hover over an item and click Remove from project, then confirm. A removed app or layer stays in the Content Library, so you can add it back later.
To remove a flow or block, open it and choose Delete. To remove a usage, delete it from its row. To remove an attachment, click Delete attachment.
🚨 Warning: Deleting an attachment can't be undone.
Clean up unused content
Click the ⋮ Cleanup menu on the Project tab to clear out content nothing in the project uses:
Purge Unused Flows…
Purge Unused Blocks…
Purge Unused Usages…
Reset to Factory Defaults…
Giraffe asks you to confirm each one.
🚨 Warning: Purging and resetting can't be undone.
If you only have view access to the project, the New button, the Cleanup menu, and the remove actions are hidden.
