Hauler Hero provides a wide range of reporting built into Hauler Hero CRM. That said, we get that your business may need a way to pull operational data on-demand for your own processes and needs.
We make this easy by providing Export functionality on every report type we provide through Hauler Hero CRM.
What specifically can I export from Hauler Hero CRM?
In short: any of the output generated after you (1) select the report you want to generate and (2) specify filters, if any, you use to expand or narrow the data set it pulls.
Now, to dive in, the report type is chosen from first selecting a report category on the left, then a report type to the right.
The report types you see up top are the same “workbook” tabs you see at the bottom of the reporting view.
The filters available to you differ per report type. Use these to run the report with respect to things like:
Defined dates or time frames
Specific values of one or more fields
Tags and flags
For example, if you wanted a list of all customers whose billing address is in California, you’d go to:
Report Category -- Customer Management
Report Type -- Accounts
Filter -- Billing State = CA
As you apply filters, the report below will regenerate with respect to rows that meet your filter’s configuration.
How do I show/hide specific columns from the table?
Right click the table, then click Show Customize Panels.
Of particular note here are the Data Source and Columns sections.
Data Source -- Allows you to change the source of your data, as well as run joins, unions, and transpositions; this decides what specific data set shows up in the table.
Columns -- Allows you to show or hide specific columns (data points) from the table your data source produces.
(Simple) How do I export <report> from Hauler Hero CRM?
In most cases, you’ll be looking to export a CSV file of a specific report. To do this, first go to the report you want to export. Then, hover your mouse’s cursor over the report’s table to prompt the actions buttons to display. Click the 3-dot icon.
Then, hover over Export followed by CSV to download that table, up to 1 million rows, in CSV format.
(Advanced) How do I export <report> from Hauler Hero CRM?
Any element you see on the report view has action buttons that show up when you hover over them. For example, in addition to the table itself, summary cards also have a 3-dot menu of their own.
Then hit Export to see what Export options we have available to you.
Download -- Downloads up to 1 million rows as a CSV, XLSX, JSON, or PDF file.
Some elements, like summary cards, will also allow you export that element’s Underlying Data as a table.
Send > Export -- Depending on what Destination you choose:
Download -- A more in-depth download option, where you can choose to download specific elements of the report’s view instead of the spreadsheet itself
Email -- An option to send any element of the report’s view via email
Webhook -- An option to send any element of the report’s view to a webhook endpoint
You can also Schedule Exports of any element you wish to be sent via email or webhook at a particular date/time.
