Atlas gives new stores a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature. Nothing is charged during the trial, and cancelling before it ends means you are not billed at all. When day seven passes, the $39 base plan starts and usage charges apply from there.

The same allowances apply during the trial as on the paid plan: 10 published pages, $1,000 of added bundle revenue, and 250 cart drawer orders.

Starting a trial takes you to a Shopify approval screen for the subscription. Nothing is charged today.

You are authorising the charge that will begin when the trial ends. It is Shopify's standard mechanism for app subscriptions, and it is what allows the subscription to continue without interruption when the trial ends.

Day seven is still a free day. The trial covers days one to seven, and the base plan starts once day seven has passed.

At that point Shopify charges $39 for your first month. Usage during the trial is never billed: your usage counters start from zero in your first paid month.

Nothing about your store changes:

Your first billing cycle begins on this day, and a new one begins every 30 days after it, so the date is not the same each month. That is why your usage counters do not align with the calendar month. Your Next billing date: is on the Plan details tab of your Subscription page.

A free trial is once per store. After your trial has ended, uninstalling and installing Atlas again does not start a new one: a subscription you approve after reinstalling is billed from that day.

You can cancel at any point during the trial and you will not be billed.

Cancelling during a trial stops your access right away rather than letting it run to day seven, and Atlas tells you so at the confirmation step: Your subscription ends immediately (you still have 5 days left in your free trial)., with however many days your trial has left.

If you cancel during the trial, you do not lose the days you have not used. Your trial keeps its original end date, and Atlas tells you: Your remaining trial days stay available — resubscribe before they run out to use them. Subscribe again before that date and you get the days that are left, shown on the button with the number of days, for example Resume free trial (5 days left).

During the trial you can publish up to 10 pages, the same allowance the paid plan includes. The difference is what happens when you reach it: on the paid plan you move into a higher tier and pay for it, but during the trial publishing is blocked and Atlas asks whether you want to upgrade early, which ends your remaining trial days.

If you have a code, apply it before starting the trial: select I have a discount code on the pricing screen.

A valid code confirms with its percentage, for example 15% off applied. Your free trial is unchanged. for a 15% code, and the button becomes Start trial with 15% off.

The wording is precise. A discount reduces what you pay after the trial. It does not shorten or extend the trial itself. See Applying a discount code to your subscription.

A badge next to the Subscription page title counts down the days left, for example Trial: 5 days left, and shows Trial: last day on the final day.

If you cancelled partway through, the Resume free trial button shows the days you have left, for example Resume free trial (5 days left), and picks it up where you left off.
