Major Change to Tobe Maps AR Publish
How to Publish Time, Resource, and Resource Keyframe Animations to AR with Tobe Maps
Tobe Maps now offers a new feature that allows users to publish Time, Resource, and Resource Keyframe Animations to AR. This feature is perfect for those who want to enhance their AR scenes with dynamic and interactive elements. In this article, we will guide you on how to use this feature and make the most out of it.
Selecting a Time Period
When publishing an AR scene to Tobe Maps, users can now select a specific time period to publish. This means that Tobe Builder will include all tasks, resources, and keyframes within that period, making your AR scene more accurate and realistic. This feature also respects BIM visibility, which means that it will respond to timeline scrubbing, giving you more control over your AR scene.
Updated AR View UX
In addition to the new time period feature, we have also updated the AR View UX from the legacy menu system to a global menu and inspector system. This update is in line with the rest of the 2.x released features, making the user experience more consistent and seamless.
Support for Azure B2C
We are excited to announce that Tobe Builder now includes a new Azure B2C login flow and responsive license management. These new features will make it easier for our users to access and manage their licenses, providing a more seamless experience.
What is Azure B2C?
Azure B2C is a cloud-based identity and access management service provided by Microsoft. It allows users to securely sign in to applications using their existing social media or email accounts, such as Microsoft or Gmail. This means that users no longer have to create a separate account for Tobe Builder, making the login process more convenient.
How Does the New Login Flow Work?
With the new Azure B2C login flow, users will be prompted to sign in with their preferred social media or email account when accessing Tobe Builder. Once signed in, users will be directed to a confirmation page where they will be asked to confirm their valid license.
What is Responsive License Management?
Responsive license management means that users must now have a valid license issued by IDD Tech for the product they wish to use. This ensures that only authorized users have access to Tobe Builder and its features.
What Happens if I Don't Have a Valid License?
If you do not have a valid license, you will not be able to access Tobe Builder's project screen. You will be prompted to confirm your license before being granted access. This ensures that only authorized users have access to Tobe Builder and its features.
Local BIM Import
Building Information Models (BIM’s) and 3D models from your local drive can be imported into Tobe Builder. Local Import allows users to upload a native BIM model into our secure cloud storage.
