Packaged Installer with EULA

Tobe Builder has now been packaged in a standard windows installer. As part of the installation process, you will be prompted to review and accept our End User License Agreement (EULA). This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for using Tobe Builder. Please take the time to read through the EULA carefully before accepting it.

Once you have accepted the EULA, the installation process will continue and Tobe Builder will be installed on your computer.

Tobe Builder Pro: Private Tenants

Tobe Builder Pro now includes dedicated private tenants, giving you complete control over who can access your data. This feature allows you to create a private tenant after logging in with a valid license. Once the tenant has been created, you can choose who has access to each tenant and can revoke that access at any time.

This feature is especially useful for organizations that need to manage access across multiple projects or organizations. Each tenant represents its own database partition, which also allows us to delete your data at your request should you choose to stop using Tobe Builder.

To create a private tenant, simply log in to Tobe Builder Pro with a valid license. Once logged in, navigate to the "Tenants" section and click on the "Create Tenant" button. From there, you can give your tenant a name and choose who has access to it.

You can also manage access to your tenants at any time by going to the tenant users section next to the right tenant dropdown at the top of the project menu.

In addition to managing access, private tenants also provide an added layer of security for your data. By creating separate database partitions for each tenant, your data is better protected from potential breaches or unauthorized access.

We understand that your data is important to you, which is why we offer the option to delete your data at your request. Simply contact our support team and we will delete your data from our servers.

Encrypting Local Cache Files

At Tobe Builder, we take the security of your data very seriously. That's why we have implemented a new feature to encrypt all local cache files for BIM, resource, task, and user preferences. This means that your data is now protected and can only be accessed by the Tobe Builder application.

What is Local Cache?

Local cache refers to the temporary storage of data on your device. This data is used to improve the performance of the Tobe Builder application by reducing the need to constantly retrieve data from our servers. This includes BIM (Building Information Modeling) data, resource information, task details, and user preferences.

Why Encrypt Local Cache Files?

By encrypting local cache files, we are adding an extra layer of security to your data. This means that even if someone gains access to your device, they will not be able to access or use your data without the Tobe Builder application.

Introducing View States

The View State menu in Tobe Builder Pro allows users to save and share a specific state within their project, enabling quick and easy navigation back to that state at any point.
