Project Upgrade Required on first opening in 2.5.x

NOTICE: Breaking Change

We are improving the data model behind Tobe Builder to facilitate the improved undo/redo functionality we have added in 2.5.x, and will continue to add over the coming releases. Unfortunately this is a breaking change, that requires projects to 'Upgrade" the data model from the old system to the new.

This is the dialog that will appear if you try to open a upgraded project in a obsolete version of Tobe Builder.

When a project is first opened in Tobe Builder 2.5.3 and above, the user will be prompted to enter the project name, and upgrade the project. Once this upgrade has been complete you will no longer be able to open that project in older versions of Tobe Builder.

As such it is important that if you are working in a team environment, that all members of the project upgrade together, as other team members will no longer be able to open the project in previous versions of Tobe once the project has been upgraded in 2.5.3

Users can also clone the project, and then upgrade the clone to enable two versions if you wish to maintain a copy of the project that can still be opened in legacy versions of Tobe Builder.

Circular Work Zone

Tobe Builder 2.5.5 introduced a new circular workzone, in addition to the existing polygon, and box zone types. The circular workzone allows for the creation of round workzones either by clicking two points and creating a round workzone with a circle that intercepts those two points, or by holding down ALT, the first point is then the circle centre, while the second point represents any point on its radius.

Circular Work Zones can also be edited in the same manner.

Project Default File Locations

ToBe will now create default export and cache locations within the AppData or Documents folders on the users computer. These can be changed to any custom location via the new "Folder Locations" icon in the top right of the window.

Bug Fixes

Google Photorealistic Tiles

Tobe Builder Pro, and Tobe Bulider Ultimate 2.5.3 contained a bug with the authentication of Google Photorealistic 3DTiles, which would prevent the tiles from appearing in some instances when the 3DTiles toggle was activated in the GIS Menu.

This bug has been resolved in 2.5.5 release.
