Overview of notifications in iQualify

Email, SMS, in-app, and Talk channel notifications are generated to alert learners, facilitators, coaches, authors, and reviewers.

iQualify sends notifications to help you stay on top of course activity, assessment updates, and important messages.

The notifications you receive depend on your role, learners, facilitators, coaches, authors, and reviewers each get updates that match their own activities, so you’ll only see what’s relevant to you.

Email

In Notifications (found in My account) you can choose which email notifications you’d like to receive. Some essential emails will always be sent, but for everything else you can opt in or out of the options that suit you best.

In-app notifications

A green dot next to the bell icon shows if you have any unread notifications. Selecting the bell opens your latest notifications, and you can scroll down to view older ones.

Each notification includes a link that takes you directly to the activity so you can see more. You can clear individual messages using the x on each notification, or choose Clear all.

Talk notifications

A green dot appears next to the Talk icon in the main course navigation when there are unread Talk channel posts or responses.

Note: Subscribing to email notifications does not automatically subscribe you to Talk channels. You also need to subscribe to each Talk channel you want to get notifications for.

SMS Notifications

You can opt in to receive SMS notifications by adding your mobile number in the Profile area of My account. Once your number is verified, you can turn SMS notifications on or off at any time.
