Learn more about LinkedIn supported media types & accounts, as well as features available.

Updated over a week ago

Take a look at our quick video tutorial on how to connect your LinkedIn account to Loomly:

In this article, we'll also review:

1. How to connect your LinkedIn account

On LinkedIn, all Pages are managed through the Profiles that have Super Admins & Content Admin permissions. So in order to connect your LinkedIn page you'll need to:

Connect the LinkedIn profile you use to manage the Page that you want to connect.

• Then select that Page to connect it to Loomly.

📝 Note: Loomly was created on a calendar basis. In each calendar, you can connect one account per social media platform. So if you need to connect two LinkedIn pages, for example, you will currently have to create two calendars.

You can also easily create a post that will be cloned on multiple calendars. You will be able to access all posts from All Calendars.

C. LinkedIn audience targeting

Loomly’s organic audience targeting features on LinkedIn allows you to accomplish just this.

Organic audience targeting is ideal for brands with a large community or those who need to target a specific subset of their audience. Learn more about it here.

You can access LinkedIn Audience Targeting when fine-tuning in Post Builder with the green Target Audience and Promote button below the Attachments section.

This will limit who will see your post based on the following attributes:

  • Industries

  • Seniorities

  • Functions

  • Company size

  • Languages

  • Locations

📝 Note: The targeted segment must have at least 300 followers; otherwise, your post will fail.

D. LinkedIn post sponsoring

You can boost posts with LinkedIn ads directly from Loomly! Learn more about it here.

E. LinkedIn polls

LinkedIn polls can be published directly from Loomly from the fine-tuning panel.

  • Go to Fine-tune Each Channel for LinkedIn

  • Click + Add Poll

  • Add a Poll Question

  • Add 2 to 4 options for poll responses

  • (Optional) Change the poll duration

📝 Note: Media attachments, link previews, audience targeting, and post sponsoring are not supported for polls
