The basics of easyPoints are earning points from orders and using them for discounts.
Account Management
easyPoints data is linked to the email address registered in Shopify. This means there is no need for separate membership registration or login. In easyPoints, logging in = logging in to Shopify.
Earning Points from Orders
Points are automatically awarded to orders based on the point rule set in your store.
The reference amount is the tax-included total, excluding shipping, and points are normally granted after the order has been paid and fulfilled. (A pending period can be set to delay awarding points by a chosen number of days.)
Point calculation always uses rounding up. This cannot be changed.
Using Points for Discounts
1 point = ¥1 discount, usable on subsequent orders.
Points can be used starting from 1 point, and will be processed as Shopify's product discount coupon.
Available usage methods are (depending on implementation):
Inside the widget
Redemption form in the cart page
Checkout page(Shopify PLUS exclusive)
If enabled, points can also be combined with other discounts.
Additional Ways to Earn Points
With optional features, customers can earn points in various scenarios beyond orders. This makes easyPoints not just a point system, but an effective store-wide loyalty program.
Data Management
Point earning history is linked to each order and customer, and can be viewed anytime.
All data can be exported as CSV in bulk. You can also import CSV files to adjust multiple point balances at once.
