Discount types in Shopify
The easyPoints point redemption uses the discount system on Shopify to subtract from the total price.
Within Shopify, there are three types of discounts:
Product discounts
Order discounts
Shipping discounts
Product discounts are discounts that apply to individual products and order discounts can be used for multiple products. Product discounts and order discounts can also be combined and used together.
easyPoints utilizes the product discount for point redemption, allowing the combination of order discount codes for simultaneous use.

Settings for discount combinations
When creating a new discount code to combine with easyPoints, please make sure to create an order discount instead of a product discount. Afterwards, please make sure to add the product discount to the combinations section in the discount settings.
How to use the discount codes
Combination with auto discount coupons: redeem points in the cart page as usual. Both the auto discount coupon and point redemption will be applied at the checkout page.
Combination with code based order discounts: redeem points in the cart page, and then apply the coupon at checkout.

Warnings about discount combinations
Shopify prioritizes the product discount and if the discount exceeds the subtotal price, the order discount will only be placed for a portion of the subtotal.
There are no point refunds for excessive point usage, so please go through each step with caution.
