MedApps is a platform that allows you to create and send surveys to clinicians for various purposes, such as collecting feedback, preferences, or insights. In this article, you will learn how to distribute a survey to clinicians using two methods: through an event or through a push notification.

In this guide

Distributing Surveys Through an Event

If you want to send a survey related to an event that you created in MedApps, link the survey to the event in the event configuration step. This will generate a unique distribution link for the survey for Clinicians to view on their mobile. You can also set when the survey will open and close relative to the event timings.

Linking a survey to an event

To link a survey to an event, you'll need to

  1. Start by creating an event from the 'Events Feature' located in the side navigation bar.

  2. On the event configuration step, find the section where you can add a survey to the event.

  3. Choose a survey template from the list of current templates available in your location.

  4. Set the closing time of the survey relative to the event timings.

You can also copy the unique distribution link from the survey’s details page and share it with anyone who can access the survey on any device with internet.

How do clinicians receive an event survey?

Clinicians can view event surveys by:

  1. Manually navigating from the app to the event on their 'Guide'

  2. Opening the Events and professional development section of the app by pressing 'More'

  3. Clicking the reminder when it's been scheduled

Distributing surveys via a mobile push notification

If you want to send a survey that is not related to an event, you can use a push notification to reach clinicians’ mobile devices immediately. The clinicians will receive a notification that will open the survey when clicked, and it will also appear in the updates feed on their app.

To send a survey through a push notification:

  1. Open your survey template from the surveys homepage and click ‘Send New Distribution’ at the top right of the screen.

  2. Enter a survey title, a message to users, and choose when to send and close the survey.

  3. Select whether to send the survey to one or more roles or to a specific group of users within a cohort.

  4. Preview and review your survey before distributing it.
