We want to help every healthcare professional feel capable, confident and efficient in their work.

That’s why we created MedApp, an offline- accessible, mobile-first tool for easily retrieving clinical and hospital guidelines, communicating with clinicians, and facilitating clinical training and quality improvement initiatives.

We believe that by improving clinician wellbeing and efficiency, we can reduce medical errors, increase hospital efficiency and improve patient care.

Benefits for managers

  • Automate manual tasks - Save precious time by scheduling messages, attendance tracking & reporting

  • Repeatable orientation process - consolidate orientation information in the app, reducing the need for emails, printed, books and USBs

  • High engagement communication - workforce, departments education teams have a dedicated communication channel from hospitals direct to mobile devices

Reporting

  • Performance benchmarking across 65 hospitals.

  • Engagement metrics help make decisions & ensures only the most useful & up-to-date content is in the app.

  • Improve staff satisfaction through access to well-being content.

Benefits for clinicians

  • Easy to access content - on-demand access to policies, procedures & guidelines.

  • Digital phone directory - call departments & services directly from your mobile to avoid lengthy delays sitting on switch.

  • Access orientation info before you arrive on site - minimise potential errors associated with starting a new job (while reducing stress & improving wellbeing!)

  • Track annual CPD requirements - log attendance & track of CPDs in one location.

Time in motion studies

During our pilot phase of implementations, we collect data to show time savings benefits for hospitals. A Time in Motion (TIM) study is conducted by first identifying 5 pieces of content available on both Med App and via standard hospital avenues (e.g. the intranet). 5 clinicians are then timed as the search for each piece of content.

Who conducts the study?

This is conducted by the hospital, not Med App and uses clinicians in real world scenarios to establish how we are providing benefits to hospitals.

Below shows an example of a TIM study conducted using real data.

Note on averages: we compare Medians to remove extremes or outliers in data.
