Overview of the Mediatool Hub page layout and features for both global and subsidiary levels, explaining what you see and how to navigate.

Hub Page Guide

The Mediatool Hub page is your starting point every time you log in. Depending on your account setup, you might have two Hub pages: one at the global level and another at the subsidiary level. Each provides a different scope of information depending on the level you are on. Let's dive into the details.

Differences Between Global and Subsidiary Hub Pages

Global Hub: Access data from all subsidiaries.

Subsidiary Hub: Access data only from the specific subsidiary.

Navigating the Hub Page

Top Menu

  1. Logo (Left-hand corner): Click to switch between your organizations and subsidiaries (if applicable).

  2. Search Bar (Center): Search for plans. At the global level, search across all subsidiaries. At the subsidiary level, search within the specific subsidiary.

  3. Notification Center: A green dot indicates unread notifications. Click to view them.

  4. Need Help: Access our support widget to send questions to our support team or explore help center articles.

  5. Avatar (top right corner): Update your personal settings and preferences.

Global Hub

Left-hand Menu

Hub: Click to return to the hub page.

Targets: View and create targets for the organization or a specific subsidiary.

Media Overview: See an overview of your plans. Switch between calendar and sheet view structures.

Results: Enter and view manual results and integrated data. For detailed analysis, refer to the Reports section.

Reports: Create comprehensive reports from your Mediatool data.

Files: Find and manage all your uploaded files in Mediatool.

Media Orders (Subsidiary Level Only, if the plugin is activated): A central location where you can manage all insertion orders and cost estimates. You can also attach purchase orders (POs) to your cost estimates.

Subsidiaries (Global Accounts Only): View all available subsidiaries.

Settings: Configure various Mediatool settings. Different options are available based on your level (global or subsidiary), as well as your user role (admin, editor, or viewer).

Plans (Subsidiary Level Only): View all plans within the subsidiary.

+Create Plan (Subsidiary Level Only): Create a new plan.

Subsidiary Hub

Middle Section

  1. Notifications: Alerts for items needing your attention.

  2. Switch Organization: Click to switch between your organizations and subsidiaries (if applicable).

  3. Customize the display to show one of the following:

    1. Recently viewed plans

    2. Last created plans

    3. Recently viewed reports

    4. Subsidiary organizations

  4. Conversations: Access and view conversations. Note that these are not private and are visible to everyone with access.

  5. Changelog: View top-level information about recent changes in the account.

  6. MediatoolGPT (if activated): Access a chat interface for questions based on your Mediatool data. Learn more here.

    1. If MediatoolGPT is not activated, a message will inform you of its status.
