If you're transitioning from ThriveCart Learn to MemberVault, this checklist will walk you through the elements you’ll want to move, rebuild, or reconnect before sharing your new account with subscribers and buyers.
Help wanted! If you've either:
left ThriveCart Learn and moved to MV
work with people to migrate from TL to MV
We'd love your help to better understand the nuances, so we can create super helpful content for people wanting to move over, and continue to update this article with more layout comparisons etc. Email us at hello@membervault.co if this is you!
1. Add Your Logo
Upload your logo inside your MemberVault account to match your branding.
2. Add Your Brand Colors
Set your brand colors so your account reflects your existing business identity.
3. Set Up Your Welcome Area
Customize your Welcome Area -- it's the default home page that visitors and members will see when they visit your site!
4. Update Your Footer
Add your business information, links, and policies to your account footer.
5. Connect Your Email Service Provider
Integrate your email platform (Kit, ActiveCampaign, etc.) so you can automate tagging and product access.
6. Connect Stripe and/or PayPal (If Applicable)
If you’re selling paid offers, connect your payment processor. We have direct integrations with Stripe and PayPal.
If you have members in ThriveCart Learn who are paying with payment plans or subscriptions, their subscriptions will continue to run via Stripe or PayPal (depending on what you have set up). You don't need to have them cancel and restart a subscription in MV since this is all handled via the payment processor.
Note, you won't see Sales Data in your MV dashboard for the subscriptions you've transferred over, unless someone cancels and then subscribes again in your MV account.
7. Copy & Paste Your Products (Courses, Programs, Bundles)
Products cannot be automatically transferred from ThriveCart Learn and will need to be recreated in MemberVault.
For each product:
Create a new Product in MemberVault
Rebuild your module/lesson structure
Copy & Paste Lesson Content (including text, images, embedded media, file downloads)
While MemberVault does have a basic in-house video player you can use, we highly recommend embedding your videos into your products with a tool like Vimeo, Skiv/muse.ai etc for optimal member viewing experience.
This can be a great opportunity to refresh or streamline your content!
8. Migrate Your Members
You can move your existing members over in one of two ways:
Option A: CSV Import
Export your users from ThriveCart Learn using a CSV File
Import them into MemberVault via Members → Import in the left side admin dashboard menu.
Grant access to your products during the import to save time (if you need to manage multiple product access, then you'll either want to upload multiple CSVs or use Option B below).
Option B: Through Your Email Platform
If your members already exist in your email system, you can trigger product access in MemberVault using a webhook or Zapier to do so.
9. Test Your Purchase & Login Flow
Before announcing the move:
Complete a test purchase (if paid)
Confirm access is granted properly for your current members
Test the login process
Review your content on desktop and mobile
