Sometimes, you may want to set different prices for the same product and let your members choose what they want to pay to get access to your product. This is very simple to set up in MemberVault.
Here are step by step instructions on how to set up a "pay what you want" option for your product:
Scroll to the product's Sign Up Options
Set the Sign Up Type to Payment (allow users to buy product)
Set up your first payment option by adding the details (Name, Type, Price, Currency)
Then click on add payment option and add your next payment option. Repeat this step until all your payment options are added.
Scroll to the end of the Sign Up Section, click on Save to save your payment options.
Now it's time to add in some actions! Scroll down to the Actions section of your product edit screen and click "Add Action."
Fill out your action fields below, then click anywhere on the screen to save these:
Best Practice for Adding Actions to your Products:
Add a Tag (available for email services we directly integrate with) - this allows you to tag members in your email service to keep track of which products they have bought, and trigger an automated welcome email series.
Show Celebration - a fun gamification addition to show your appreciation for your people
Send Notification - keep track of when you make a sale by getting an email notification sent to you or a team member
Track Hot Leads - tag members who are interested in your product and use this to send them additional nurture emails in your email service (more on hot leads here)
As a bonus strategy, you can reward people for purchasing a specific payment option (i.e. the highest one) by adding them to another product or giving them another tag for that special bonus:
