When Should I Start Mom Moves During Pregnancy?

Updated this week

One of the most common questions we get is: “What week should I start Mom Moves?”

The good news — you don’t need to match your exact pregnancy week to the program. Instead, Mom Moves is designed to meet you where you are by trimester.

How to Get Started

Simply:

  • Select the program that matches your current trimester

  • Start at Week 1 of that trimester’s program

How to Find Mom Moves in the App

To locate Mom Moves:

  • Tap on the Programs tab in the app

  • Select Prenatal

  • Select your trimester (Trimester 1, 2, or 3)

  • Tap into the program and begin with Week 1

If you’re not sure which trimester you’re in or don’t see it right away, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help 💙

How to Progress

  • Continue moving through the program at your own pace

  • When you enter your next trimester:

    • End your current program

    • Start Week 1 of the next trimester program

This approach keeps your workouts aligned with how your body is changing — so you can feel strong, supported, and confident every step of the way 💙

Example:

  • If you’re 18 weeks pregnant → start Trimester 2, Week 1

  • When you reach Trimester 3 → switch to Trimester 3, Week 1

What Happens After Delivery?

Once baby arrives, your next step is recovery and rebuilding:

  • You can begin Postpartum Moves around 2–3 weeks after delivery (always listen to your body and follow your provider’s guidance)

  • If you had a C-section, we also offer a dedicated scar recovery program to support your healing

You’re Doing Amazing

Every pregnancy is different, and the goal of Mom Moves is to support you — not to follow a rigid timeline. Start where you are, move at your pace, and know you’re building strength for both you and baby 💙
