If you're pregnant, Mom Moves is our prenatal program — developed with a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in Pelvic Floor and Women's Health, and built to adapt as you move through each trimester. Weekly Moves is our standard program and isn't explicitly designed for pregnancy, and because we add it to your calendar by default when you join, it's easy to end up there without meaning to.
Brand new to the Moves App and pregnant? Start with Mom Moves rather than Weekly Moves — it'll meet you where you are from your very first workout, no modifying required.
How to Tell Which Program You're In
You're likely still in Weekly Moves if:
Your program is called Weekly Moves rather than a Mom Moves trimester program:
You don't see trimester-specific workouts (Trimester 1, 2, or 3)
The exercises don't feel adapted to pregnancy — no pelvic floor focus, or movements that don't feel right for your body
👀 Been doing Weekly Moves for a while? If you know the program well and feel comfortable continuing, you can — some moms stick with it until their belly gets in the way 😉. You can also move over to Mom Moves at any point, since Weekly Moves isn't explicitly designed for pregnancy.
Make the call that's best for you — and either way, swap out anything that doesn't feel right along the way.
⚠️ If you're ever unsure whether an exercise is right for you, stop — don't push through it. And as always, check in with your healthcare provider about what's right for your pregnancy.
How to Switch to Mom Moves
Unfollow Weekly Moves
From the Programs tab, go to the Library or Active section, select Weekly Moves, and tap Unfollow. Weekly Moves can't be paused, so unfollowing is how you clear it from your calendar.Find the Prenatal programs
Back in Programs, scroll down to the Prenatal section — you'll see a separate program for each trimester.Choose your current trimester
Select Trimester 1, 2, or 3 to match where you are in your pregnancy.Start it at Week 1
Tap Start Program, then begin with Week 1 — you don't need to match your exact pregnancy week.
From there, your workouts are built for the stage of pregnancy you're in — with pelvic floor and core work woven throughout, and modifications available whenever you need them 💙
Which Trimester Should I Choose?
Go by the trimester you're actually in — not by which workouts feel easiest — since each program is built around what your body needs at that stage:
Trimester 1 — roughly weeks 1–13
Trimester 2 — roughly weeks 14–27
Trimester 3 — roughly week 28 onward
Use your provider's dating as your guide. And you don't need to match your exact pregnancy week to a program week — just start at Week 1 of your trimester.
Mom Moves won't advance you between trimesters automatically, so when you enter a new trimester, end the program you're on and start the next trimester's from Week 1.
What About My Weekly Moves Progress?
Nothing is lost. Unfollowing Weekly Moves clears it from your calendar, but all of your completed workouts and logged data stay in your profile — and you're welcome to come back to Weekly Moves after pregnancy whenever you're ready.
