If you can't get into the Moves App — whether sign-in fails, the screen loads blank, or nothing happens when you tap through — work through the steps below in order. Most cases are resolved in the first two.
Step 1: Check you're using the right email address
This is the most common cause. Your login is tied to the exact email address you subscribed with.
If you signed up on movesapp.com, use that email and password.
If you signed up through Apple, you may have used Sign in with Apple and a private relay address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com) rather than your usual email. Try the Sign in with Apple button rather than typing an email.
If you've ever had two accounts under different emails, try the other one.
💡 Not sure which email you used? Search your inbox for a receipt or welcome email from Moves — the address it was sent to is the one on your account.
Step 2: Reset your password
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and follow the emailed link. If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder — and confirm you're requesting it for the correct email address from Step 1.
Step 3: Update the app, then restart it
A blank or partially loaded screen is very often an out-of-date app version.
Open the App Store or Google Play and check whether an update for Moves is available. Install it if so.
Fully close the app (don't just background it) and reopen it.
Restart your phone if the screen is still blank.
Step 4: Check your connection
Workout content and program data load from our servers, so a weak or restricted connection can produce a blank screen even when the app opens. Try switching between WiFi and mobile data. If you're on a work or school network, a firewall or VPN may be blocking the app.
Step 5: Reinstall the app
⚠️ Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription and does not delete your account, your progress, or your logged workouts — those are saved to your account, not your phone. You'll get everything back when you sign in again.
Delete the Moves App, reinstall it from your app store, and sign in with the email from Step 1.
Step 6: Try another device
If you can sign in somewhere else, the problem is specific to your device rather than your account — which is genuinely useful for us to know, so please mention it when you get in touch.
💡 A note on the desktop site. The website at movesapp.com is a legacy version of our older app. It isn't actively maintained and won't match what you see in the mobile app, so it isn't a reliable way to test whether your account is working. The Moves App is your main hub — that's where all current features and updates live.
Signed in, but no programs or workouts showing?
If you can log in but the app looks empty, this may not be a technical fault at all — it can mean your subscription is no longer active. Two common reasons:
Your subscription lapsed after failed payments. If a payment couldn't be collected, the subscription is eventually cancelled automatically. See I Got an Email About My Payment — What Does It Mean?
You're signed in to the wrong account. If you have two accounts, the subscription may sit on the other one — go back to Step 1.
Either way you haven't lost anything: your logged workouts and progress stay attached to your account.
Still can't get in?

A screenshot or screen recording of what you're seeing, and the exact wording of any error message
