If you're pregnant and considering joining the Move Together challenge, it's important to prioritize your health and safety. Here are some key considerations:
Consult Your Doctor
Before starting any program during pregnancy, always check with your healthcare provider. Many participants have safely completed Move Together while pregnant, but every pregnancy is unique.
Consider the Mom Moves Prenatal Program
If you're new to exercise or unsure about modifying workouts during pregnancy, the Mom Moves Prenatal Program is a great place to start. Developed in collaboration with a Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, it’s designed to support safe, effective movement tailored to pregnancy.
If You Choose to Join Move Together
Here’s how to make it work safely:
Listen to Your Body
Pay close attention to how you feel during workouts and modify as needed. Pregnancy-safe options are included in Move Together, but moving at your own pace is always encouraged.
Seek Professional Guidance
If possible, check in with a Pelvic Floor or Women’s Health Physical Therapist for personalized support throughout your pregnancy.
Flexibility in Scheduling
You can complete workouts at your own pace. Not ready for the full 6-day schedule? No problem — you can save workouts and come back when it feels right.
Logging & App Access
Full logging features are available for 6 months after your Move Together purchase. After that, if you're not an active Moves App subscriber, workouts remain accessible in view-only mode. Learn more about view-only mode here.
Can I do the challenge if I’m postpartum?
Everyone’s postpartum timeline looks a little different, so we always recommend building a solid foundation first. Our Postpartum Program is designed to help you reconnect to your core and rebuild strength in a really intentional and safe way.
That said, Move Together is a great option when you feel ready — and you can absolutely start with the nutrition (recipes + macros) now and layer in the workouts later. The challenge is very doable with modifications and options for scaled intensity, but we encourage honoring your recovery first.
