How do I effectively build my Everyday Giving page?
Updated yesterday

Creating an effective fundraising page can seem like a daunting task if you are starting from scratch. The campaign onboarder breaks up this process into three key sections to help organize your information and set you up for success!

Step 1: Fill out basic information about your campaign

The campaign onboarder will prompt you to enter a name for your Everyday Giving campaign.

Once you have chosen a name, click 'Next' to proceed. On the next page, you can set a fundraising goal and an end date for your campaign.

Step 2: Customize your campaign page

After clicking 'Next', you will move on to the next section of the campaign onboarder, where you will create a headline and craft a thoughtful story, which helps encourage your donors to make their contributions.

Clicking 'Next' will move you to the next page where you can upload an image and video to further personalize and enhance your campaign.

Step 3: Adjust your Donation Settings

To move on to the 'Donation Settings' page, click 'Next'. Here, you can specify the '*Suggested Amount Type'.

You can set amounts based on your organization's fundraising needs or leave the text field under '*Donation Amounts' blank to use the default amounts.

By default, the box next to 'Allow Custom Donation Amount' is checked. We recommend leaving this checked - but, you may uncheck the box if you do not want your donors entering custom donation amounts.

From here, you will click 'Next' to set the 'Donation Frequency'. Choosing 'Standard' will use the standard recurring donation frequencies, while choosing 'Custom' will allow you to select several other options.

Clicking 'Next' will bring you to the 'Fund Designations' page. Checking the box next to a designation will allow your donors to make their gift in support of that specific fund.

You can also manually add any new designations you would like and edit corresponding details for any of them by clicking 'Edit' under the 'Actions' button next to it.

If you check the box next to 'Require donors to select a designation for their donation' they will receive an error message when they attempt to make their gift.

Please Note: If this box is checked and the donor does not select a designation, their donation attempt will fail. Failed donation attempts can hurt donation conversion.

If you do not have any designations set up or prefer to have your donors give to a general fund, you can disregard this page and move on by clicking 'Next' once more to preview and publish your page.
