How can I leverage event volunteers to help with the check-in process?

Not only can event volunteers help in with the check-in process, we encourage their help in order to speed up the process and let the festivities begin as quickly as possible.

Below, find a few simple steps we recommend that you take to make sure those helpful volunteers can successfully participate in the check-in process.

Step 1: Provide volunteers with an already-logged-in device for check-in.

While event volunteers can help with the process, users must have a “Manager”-level admin role or higher in order to access the check-in page.

We recommend that an existing admin who has access log into a shared laptop, tablet, or other mobile device for volunteers to utilize during check-in.

Step 2: Provide volunteers with a shared "Manager"-level admin account.

While we strongly recommend utilizing step one, you can also create a new admin account specifically for volunteers to use and log into directly.

The reason we don't recommend this particular option is because it will provide anyone logged into that account the same access as a Manager-level admin - which may not be in your best interests, especially if your volunteers are new to your organization.
