How do I add data for bidders who didn't win any purchases?

If you would like to add the bidders from your auction who did not win any items, this can be easily accomplished by exporting all of your auction's participants out of your Auctions tool, and then importing that data in through the Self-Import tool.

Below, we'll walk you through the steps of this process, so you can keep all of your Auctions data within your one place of record - Donor Management.

Step 1: Export out all of your participant's data from your auction.

If you need a refresher on how to export out all of your bidder's data, please click here.

Please note that this file will also contain all of the winning bidders’ information, which will have already synced over to Donor Management. You can either remove any of those winning bidders from that file, or you can keep them in – importing the winning bidders in again won’t create any duplicate contacts (though you may be asked to review data to confirm this).

Step 2: Use the Self-Import tool to import in your bidder data into Donor Management.

Once you have that file, you can use our Self-Import tool to add that information directly into Donor Management.
