Add Organization Contacts and Related Donations to Donor Management

We've added the ability for you to add organization contacts and their related donation details directly into Donor Management; previously, this feature was only available with the assistance of our Data Import team.

You should now see a new "Import Type" step when self-importing in records, with an option for you to select either "individuals" or "organizations."

Please note, you must separately import in individuals and organizations in order to ensure that your import processes smoothly.

Soft Credit Option Now Available for Sponsorships

Users can now add soft credits to sponsorships! Since most nonprofits treat sponsorships as donations, it made sense to create a way to track who should receive credit for securing those sponsorship purchases.

Next to each sponsorship transaction in Donor Management, there now should be an option to "Add Soft Credit" underneath the "Actions" button.

Improved Data Available for Historical Donor Reports

We've added the ability to export the "total donation amount" for donors through the prior six years - making it much easier to report on donor history, and eliminating the need to create pivot tables or use other methods to calculate those numbers.

All you'll need to do is select the historical years you'd like to include in your export when generating a report, and it'll automatically be added as a column within your exported file.

Ability to Delete Custom Domains Added

Admin users now have the ability to delete or remove the custom domains that they add when setting up email "Senders." Where previously users would have to reach out to our Support team for assistance, they can now delete the domains on their own - which can be particularly helpful if they've made a typo or need to update a domain.

Users will want to click on the "Actions" button next to the "Domain Verification" section under "Manage Email Blast Senders," and select the option to "Delete".

Please note that all senders must be removed before a domain can be deleted.

Promo Code Error When Adding Offline Tickets Resolved

Promo code uses now update appropriately when offline ticket purchases are deleted. Previously, when adding and then deleting ticket purchases, available promo codes with limits on usage did not adjust as they should have.

We have resolved this issue and promo code totals should now update correctly moving forward.

New Donation Receipt Details Added to Recurring Donors' Email Notification

We've added important donation reception details to the email notifications that recurring donors receive for each installment of their donation.

Previously, these details were only included in the initial email notification donors received when setting up the recurring donation; however, we found that donors preferred to have that information readily available in each recurring notification for receipting purposes.

Quick Search for Contact and Giving Filters - Gradual Release

We've begun to roll out the option for you to use "quick search" for both Contact and Giving Filters - meaning you'll no longer have to scroll through dozens of filter options to locate the one that you've been looking for!

Simply begin typing the name of the desired filter and then select it from the relevant results that appear.

This functionality is being released to audiences over the next couple of weeks, so if you don't already see it within Donor Management - be on the lookout for this exciting new feature in the coming days!

Drop-Down Menus Now "Tab-able" Again on "Add Donation" Page

When we recently added the "quick search" capability to several of the "Add Donation" fields (mentioned above), we had several customers reach out because they were no longer able to "tab" through the fields and drop-down options on the page.

We've since updated that feature and added the ability to "tab" through back in, so that you can use both the "quick search" feature AND "tab" through to find the correct field - and more easily add donation details to Donor Management!
