1. Get to know your waitlist
Learn how to add guests, notify them, update their status, and manage your day-to-day waitlist operations.
See the Managing the Waitlist article for more details.
2. Customize your notifications
These are the SMS text messages your guests receive when they join, when they are nearing the front of the line, and when you are ready for them. Use the defaults provided or craft specific language for your business.
See the Notifications article for more details.
3. Set up queues
Does your business need more than one queue for different situations? For example: 1-2 top or 3-4 top tables for restaurants, or Pet Pickup vs Emergency Surgery for veterinarians.
See the Queues article for more details.
4. Add custom fields
Want to capture additional information about your guests or require specific intake fields? Custom fields let you add anything from party size to service type.
See the Custom Fields article for more details.
5. Configure Self Check-in
Your business may have a host or front desk person who checks people in, or you may want guests to check themselves in online or on a tablet kiosk. Self Check-in handles both.
See the Self Check-in article for more details.
6. Set up your Virtual Waiting Room
Your Virtual Waiting Room is a guest-facing page where guests can track their place in line and browse your content while they wait. A powerful way to keep guests engaged, happy, and retained.
See the Virtual Waiting Room article for more details.
7. Confirm your Business Details
Keeping your Business Details accurate is important for other features to work correctly, including the Self Check-in geofence.
See the Business Details article for more details.
8. Invite your team
Add team members with the appropriate permission levels so you can delegate tasks. Always invite teammates through Team Settings - do not ask them to sign up independently, as each email can only be associated with one account.
See the Team and Users article for more details.
9. Add locations
Manage multiple locations now, or add them as your business grows.
See the Locations article for more details.
10. Review General Settings
Configure other basic settings for your waitlist, including position in line display and wait time methods.
See the General Settings article for more details.
