A SWIFT transfer is an international bank transfer sent via the SWIFT network (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication). It allows banks and financial institutions worldwide to send and receive money securely, even if they do not have a direct relationship.
A SWIFT transfer can be can be used in any currency, and uses a SWIFT/BIC code for banks to identify each other. It can also sometimes be called an International Wire or SWIFT Payment.
You can send money to/from your local USD/GBP/EUR account to/from your nsave account via SWIFT.
This will usually take between 1-5 working days to be received. SWIFT transfers are part of the SWIFT network which a bigger and slower global infrastructure.
Sending a SWIFT Transfer
To send a SWIFT transfer first make sure your account is funded. Then you can click on the Send button and enter the account details and IBAN of the receiver by selecting the "+" button at the top right which will create a new recipient.
Once that's done, just select the recipient and complete the steps to send a transfer!
