Even customers with the best intentions are sometimes forgetful. To make sure they don't forget about your review requests we added the ability to set an automated reminder email. The reminder will be sent if a contact:
Doesn't open or answer a review request.
Opened a review request and answered "Yes" to "Would you recommend?", but didn't select a review account to leave a review on or leave a testimonial.
There are a few things to go over before you enable email reminders:
Navigate to LocalReviews > Surveys > Survey Name > Edit Survey.
2. Next, click on Design, and click on Email Reminder.
Email Subject
The default subject line is Thanks for choosing us! Would you leave us a review? [Merchant Name] Don't hesitate to replace it by one tailored to your business.
The Email Body
You can customize the body to tailor it to your business or keep the default text. If you choose to change the text make sure to have the [Button: Review Link] tag in the email.
You can move and add Dynamic Tags in the email body. Please make sure to take a look at this Article if you have any questions on how to use Dynamic Tags.
Navigate to Settings on the top Nav bar, and scroll down to find "Send after X days".
You get to choose when the reminder email is to be sent out. The default is set to 7 days after the contact received the review request. You can change it if you think it should be sent earlier or later.
Click on Design, and scroll down to "Send a Preview". Send yourself a preview to make sure the Title, Body and Dynamic Tags are displayed the way you would like.
Click "Save" to take it live!
