Addressing Incorrect Sensor Readings

Solutions to ensure accurate readings from your device's sensors

Updated over a week ago

Perifit sensors are very sensitive and can be impacted by a few factors.

Troubleshoot the right issue

  1. Is there a delay between your movements and the on-screen reaction? (i.e. you are contracting/relaxing but the character reacts with a delay). Refer to “Preventing Disconnections

  2. Your movements are not reflected at all on the screen (i.e. you are contracting/relaxing but nothing is happening on the screen). Refer to “Kegel 101” and “Tips to do a perfect Kegel

  3. Your strength fluctuates a lot from session to session or decreases as the sessions goes along. Refer to “Understanding Strength and Contraction Quality Fluctuations

  4. Perifit moves inside your vagina while training, which affects the game and your strength or contraction quality. Refer to "Insertion of Perifit Care" and "Perifit Care moves during training"

Troubleshooting sensor quality

If you're unsure that your sensors work properly, here's a short troubleshoot process:

  1. Turn on your Perifit and keep it in your hand

  2. Start the Practice Lab from the Exercises tab (Connect Perifit and proceed with calibration if needed)

  3. Press the bottom sensor in your fist, then the upper sensor. See if the pins on the screen move.

Top tips to get the best sensor reading rate

  • Calibrate in the same position as you train (play games).

Note: If you feel like the game is no longer adapted to your current strength or that you changed position, try recalibrating.

  • Try different training positions and find the one that suits you best. We usually recommend to Perifit Care users to lay down with their knees bent and to Perifit Care+ users to sit.

  • Remain as still as possible throughout your training session

  • Train at the same time of the day
