Understanding the Event Manage Tab

Learn how the admin Manage tab works on an event, and how it changes shape depending on whether the event uses auto accept, capacity, selection mode, or a waitlist.

When you tap an event card as an admin or duty holder, you land on the event detail screen with 2 tabs: Manage and Details.

The 2 tabs

  • Manage is your operational hub. It opens by default for admins and duty holders, and shows response stats and manage actions such as team selection, attendance, and fees.

  • Details shows exactly what members see: description, location, attachments, and livestream link.

Note: Members never see the Manage tab. Duty holders only see it for their assigned event. Group admins only see it for events within groups they administer.

How the Manage tab adapts to your event

The response section on the Manage tab shows different information depending on how the event is configured.

No capacity, auto accept

  • Shows Going, Maybe, Not going, and Pending counts, with nudge options for anyone still pending.

Capacity on, with a minimum

  • Shows the same as above, plus a capacity indicator like "18 / 20 going" and a minimum attendance indicator.

Selection mode

  • Shows Available, Maybe, Not available, and No response counts, with a prominent Select team button.

Waitlist active

  • Once capacity is reached, a Waitlist section appears below the Going section. Waitlisted members are notified automatically if a spot opens, and you can promote anyone from the waitlist manually.

Other action buttons on the Manage tab

  • Select team only appears in selection mode.

  • Attendance only appears if Track Attendance is turned on for the event.

  • Collect Fees only appears if fee collection is turned on for the event.

FAQ

Can I nudge members who haven't responded yet?

Yes, nudge is always available for pending or no-response members. Nudging only resends the original notification, it never creates a new payment link.

For the specific tasks reachable from this tab, see [How to Select a Team for an Event], [How to Take Attendance for an Event], and [How to Collect, Nudge, Refund, or Waive Event Fees].
