In this article you'll learn how to start creating your own personalized Drip Campaigns to follow up with leads, or re-engage previously not interested owners. Our Drip Campaigns feature works in conjunction with Sequences. First set up your drip SMS or Email campaigns, then add them as an Action in Sequences to automatically run based on certain triggers.
Drip Campaigns help ensure no lead goes cold due to lack of follow up.
Before setting up your Drip Campaigns, there are few important details to note:
All SMS messages would be sent through your carrier. You will need to purchase and integrate with smrtPhone, Twilio or Plivo in order to use this feature. SMS Drip Campaigns are not available using Kixe, Smarter Contact, or Launch Control.
Please be responsible with the setup, we do not limit the amount of texts you can send on our end. You will still need to comply with A2P 10DLC. Sending large volume of SMS at once can affect your connectivity and spam rates.
All texts (and emails) will be sent between the hours of 8AM - 9PM based on the timezone you set in your account. If you have not set your timezone yet, please set it under the Settings -> Profile section of your account before creating your sequences.
For more on setting your account timezone, please see: Setting Your Account Time Zone
Creating Your Drip Campaigns
Select Drip Campaigns on the left sidebar of your account, then Add New Campaign.
Next, name your campaign and drag and drop the steps you want to include in the drip.
Use the delay option to schedule out future sms and emails.
Delays can be set by minutes, hours, or days.
When using Task Presets in Drip Campaigns, the task will still be assigned based on the due date in the preset.
Adding Drips to a Sequence
Now you'll need to attach your drip campaigns to a sequence. From the Sequences section on the left sidebar of your account, you can create a new sequence or edit an existing one.
With our default account build you'll already have sequences started for Lead Management, Acquisitions, and Transactions. To add drips to an existing sequence, just open the sequence, select make changes, then add action and Drip Campaign.
Managing Drip Campaigns
Creating Drip Campaign Folders
Folders can be created to further organize each of your drip campaigns. Click Create folder then name it. Click the three dots next to each drip to move them into a new folder. If you select to delete a folder, you'll have the option to delete just the folder, or also delete the drips. Please note that when you delete a drip campaign it cannot be recovered and any drip actions will stop.
Viewing Details for Drips
Click View Details to view and manage records in the drip campaign.
Here you can also remove a record from the campaign.
