Before you place your first order

What to know before you place your first order.

Everything stays the same but you gain. What do we mean by that?

This doesn't change your relationship with the supplier. You are still:

  • Ordering directly from them. Sellar isn't a middle man.

  • Keeping the pricing, deals and terms you had before. All our Suppliers follow the Best Price Promise.

But you do have:

  • Full and live product availability

  • Nationwide and local direct delivery

  • Invoice history

  • Pay by bank or card

  • Instant messaging with Suppliers.

and more:

  • You can order from more than just one supplier on Sellar. So long multiple email lists and links. Its all here in one place.

Placing your first order

How to get your basket stocked with everything you want to order.

  1. To order from a Supplier already in your list, head to My Suppliers. You can filter your list using the headings or use the search to find the Supplier you want to order from.

  2. Choose a Supplier from the list to head to their availability page.

  3. From here you can see everything:

    1. All the Products that are in stock ready to order directly. Including the price. (If the pricing doesn't match your normal prices, place the order and the Supplier will fix it before they accept the order request. Drop them a note later on in the order.)

    2. Any discounts available based on your basket. This might be on order quantity or specific products. It might even be on delivery. You will always see this on left hand side.

    3. How much the delivery be and your delivery options. Based on where you are and if direct or courier delivery is available. Also always on the left hand side.

    4. Lastly your payment terms, how you will pay for any order. (Remember if these aren't your normal terms, place the order and the Supplier will fix it before they accept the order request. Drop them a note later on in the order.)

  4. Add Products to your Basket by adjusting the quantities using the plus and minus. These will live update your basket, total and progress towards any discounts.

  5. When you are finished use View Basket to review whats in there. any adjustments can be made here also.

  6. Then use Checkout to start the final bits of placing your order directly with the Supplier.
