Supplier Guide: Use Sellar to grow your trade sales at events

This guide informs Sellar suppliers on how to generate promotional materials with QR codes to use at festivals and events.

You are in a prime position to grow your direct trade sales when you showcase how easily trade buyers can order from you on Sellar. Using QR codes on promo materials means customers can instantly see what you have in stock, message you and place orders.

By having these promotional materials on your bar will help you capture more orders and avoid Opening Order Fees.

There are two options for how you can present a QR code that directs to your Sellar storefront.

  • You can use our easily editable template

OR

  • You can make your own branded poster, adding just the QR code

Both will make an impact on your bar at events.

💡 Top Tips:

  • Ask potential customers to message you on Sellar so you can follow-up with them later

  • If they don't use Sellar or haven't heard of Sellar, tell them the benefits of ordering from you:

How to make your own QR code poster

First, open one of the templates in Canva

  1. Go to File and click Make a copy

  2. To add your logo, Click Uploads in the navigation bar on the left of the screen

    1. Upload or Select your logo

    2. Drag your logo to the Sellar logo, Canva will then automatically replace one image with the other

  3. To edit the QR code, go to Apps in the navigation bar on the left of the screen

    1. Search QR Code

    2. Add the QR Code app

  4. Select the QR code, a box will appear on the left

  5. Go to Share Link in Sellar, copy your storefront link

  6. Go back to Canva

    1. Paste your storefront link into the box in the menu on the left

    2. Click update code

  7. Your poster is now ready to be downloaded 🎉

    1. Click Share in the top right of the screen

    2. Select Download

    3. Change the file type to PDF

    4. Click the purple Download button

You can the print the posters yourself or order them from a printing website. We recommend Solopress.

Use a QR code on your own branded poster

Many of our suppliers design their own posters for use on their bars at trade events.

In this case they generate their own QR code using their Storefront Link.

You can generate your storefront QR code by going to Share Link in the app, clicking the three dots to the right of the link and selecting Download QR Code

You can also generate your own QR codes in the free design app Canva or using free, online tools such as QR Code Generator.

Include a QR code on your business card

Often trade buyers will take a supplier's business card to act as a reminder after the event. By including a QR code for your Sellar store on your business card you will be offering an easy, frictionless way for them to buy from you following an event.
