Trouble linking another TikTok account

Linking a second TikTok account usually fails because your phone is logged into the wrong TikTok account; switch accounts in TikTok first, then reset the authorization if it still won't link.

Written by Basel from Soco

The first check fixes most of these: TikTok itself has to be logged into the account you're trying to link.

Check which TikTok account you're logged into

Soco links the account TikTok is on, so start there:

  1. Open TikTok.

  2. Check the username on your profile.

  3. Switch to the account you want to link.

  4. Try linking again in Soco.

Reset the old authorization

Next, clear the existing authorization and approve fresh:

  1. Tap Continue with TikTok in Soco.

  2. Scroll down on the TikTok authorization page.

  3. Tap Remove all access.

  4. Try again and approve all permissions.

  5. Check the account you wanted now shows as connected.

Update TikTok, then reinstall Soco

If it still won't link, the last two remedies are the same ones that fix a first account: update TikTok from the App Store, and if that changes nothing, delete and reinstall Soco and try once more. The full steps are in Trouble linking your TikTok account.
