The Policy Coverage page can be accessed by clicking the Coverage View link in the Billing Information sidebar located on the right-hand side of the Case, Service File or Service Event page.

Here you will see a list of available policies/coverage for a given Case, Service File or Service Event. Policies not listed in the Service File Billing Sequence or coverages with exhausted limits will still be listed here with an explanation as to why the coverage cannot be viewed.

Coverage ID

To view the coverage click the applicable Coverage ID.

Policy Coverage Page

The Policy Coverage page provides a snapshot of the policy coverage. The easiest way to access this page is by navigating to the Individual Profile, Policy tab and selecting applicable Coverage ID.

On the Policy Coverage page you will see the following information:

  • Funder Information

  • Authorization No.

  • Whether the policy is active and/or confirmed

  • The No Show fee (as a percentage)

  • The Service Units covered under the coverage

  • Limit Summary (this shows coverage limits, usage, on hold units/dollars (e.g. on hold indicates units/dollars that haven’t been invoiced yet)

  • Re-authorize and Roll Over functions (see Coverage Maintenance for more information on these controls)

It is possible to edit the coverage by clicking the edit button located in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Notes Tab

If you need to write notes on a particular coverage click the Notes tab and then the edit button located at the top of the page.

Usage Tab

The Usage tab displays information relating to the usage of the policy. To display this information click the Usage tab.
