Individuals (clients) are the core unit of information in Penelope and can be added to Cases (Case Members) and Service Files (Service Participants). Individuals can also participate in Informal Series events.

Individuals have a range of attributes such as Profile information, Demographic, Collateral Contact and Account Information data. Which can all be accessed from the Individual Profile page in Penelope.


Main Components

The Individual Profile page is made up of the following components:

Individual Information

Here you can find the following information:

  • Individual ID – This is a Unique ID assigned to the Individual when they are added to Penelope.

  • Sex (required)

  • Date of Birth (required)

  • Site – This is the default site the Individual will receive services at (required).

  • Safety Concern/Financial Concern (if required).

  • Aware of Contact – Here you can see whether or not the partner/home are aware of contact with the agency.

  • Personal Demographic Information – Language, Ethnicity and Race fields – (if turned on by your System Administrator).

  • Tax Schedule (if turned on by your System Administrator)

  • Individual Identifiers – For example SNN, NII, Medicare numbers, PNR (NDIS).

  • Notes

Contact Info section

Here you will find any contact information you have on file for the Individual. This may include phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses etc.

Address section

Here you will find any address information you have on file for the Individual. This may include multiple addresses (residential, postal, previous etc).

Collateral Contacts section

Here you will find any Collateral Contacts you have on file for the Individual. This may include doctors, therapists, lawyers, next of kins etc.

Employment tab

If turned on by your System Administrator you will find information relating to the Individual’s employment.

Policy tab

Here you will find information relating to any Policies the Individual may have.

Messages tab

Here you can start a Discussions or send Client Communications (SMS or email depending on the configuration).

Message Settings tab

Here you can configure an Individual’s message preferences in addition to creating a ClientConnect account (if available).

How to Add an Individual

How to Delete an Individual

To delete an Individual in Penelope click the delete button located at the top of the Individual Profile page.

Depending on your Penelope database configuration and other associated conditions relating to an Individual’s Profile (e.g. Service Files, Cases, Documents etc) it may not be possible to delete the Individual Profile. You may also require a password.
