How to Use EagleView Imagery D for Canada?

Why is it important?

EagleView imagery is now available for Canadian projects as Imagery D in Manual Design (NREL) mode. Designers working on Canadian homes get high-quality imagery for more accurate designs, with roof area and squares provided by EagleView.

What will you need?

  • A project with a Canadian address.

  • Access to the Design Tool in Manual Design (NREL) mode.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the proposal for the Canadian project and launch the “Design Tool”.

Step 2: Choose “Manual Design (NREL)” mode.

Step 3: In the imagery options, select “Imagery D” to load EagleView imagery.

Step 4: Build your design on the EagleView imagery. Roof area and squares come from EagleView.

Real Life Scenario

A designer in Ontario has a project where the standard imagery is blurry. They open the Design Tool in Manual Design (NREL) mode, switch to Imagery D, and trace the roof on clear EagleView imagery for a more accurate layout.

Pro Tip

Compare Imagery D with the other imagery options for each project and use whichever gives the clearest view of the roof.

Troubleshooting

Problem: I don’t see Imagery D

Imagery D is available only for Canadian projects in Manual Design (NREL) mode. Check the project address and the design mode.

Problem: I don’t see facet-level measurements

For Canada, EagleView provides roof area and squares only. Facet-level data is not included.
