Teachers may find that they have badge notifications indicating that they have new messages. Sometimes, unread messages from previous school years are causing the continuance of the notification badges. See the following instructions for how to read messages from previous school years, and remove the notifications!

Step 1: Go to your Messages tab.

Step 2: Click the three dot menu.

Step 3: Choose to 'mark all messages as read.'

If you do not see messages in your inbox, but still see a red indicator, this indicates there are some messages from previous school years. Here is how to change your school year:

Step 1: Go to 'Messages'.

Step 2: Click the three dots to view options.

Step 3: Select the option to 'Filter messages by date'.

Step 4: Choose the time frame from which you want to view them.
