Overview
Welcome! It looks like you’ve successfully activated your Tenant Portal for your rented unit! This portal is designed to make your renting experience as smooth and convenient as possible.
So, what exactly is the Tenant Portal? Think of it as your all-in-one hub for managing everything related to your rental. Whether you need to make a payment, submit a maintenance request, or access important documents, it’s all right here at your fingertips. We’re excited to have you on board and hope this tool makes your rental experience hassle-free!
Below are descriptions for each section you will encounter in the Tenant Portal. You can access the tenant portal from your computer's web browser, your smartphone browser, or the iOS and Android app.
Getting Started
Upon first login to your tenant portal, you'll be presented with a short onboarding session on what you can do with the portal - this includes being able to create maintenance requests, purchase renters insurance, make rent payments online, and add a default payment method to your account. You can choose to skip the onboarding, but you will be prompted later to add a payment method if you choose not to add it during the onboarding.
Step 5 in the onboarding process asks that you create a default payment method to your portal. This can be a credit card, debit card, bank account, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. To learn how to add a new Payment Method, read the article: How to Add a New Payment Method on the Tenant Portal.
Once you are completed with the onboarding, you will have access to the following areas on the portal:
Home - Overview of your account with quick access to make payments, create maintenance requests, and view announcements
Payments - Shows you a history of all your charges and payments as well as access to any auto-pays you have set up and payment methods
Insurance - Enter or purchase renters insurance from here
Requests - Contact the property manager and enter maintenance requests
Announcements - View important announcements from your property manager
