This guide provides step-by-step instructions for using advanced search tools in the Portal, helping you quickly find and manage your tickets.
Accessing the Advanced Ticket Searches
Navigate to the Ticket Search option in the left panel.
By default, the search will display tickets you created within the past five days.
Search Options
You can search for tickets using the following methods:
Single Ticket Number
Enter the ticket number to view the ticket details instantly.
💡Pro Tip:
Reset your search before conducting a new one.
My Tickets
Searches for tickets created by you.
Select a date range and/or additional filters to refine your results.
My Company Tickets
Searches for tickets created by others within your company.
Be sure to deselect the “My Tickets” option before using this search.
Choose a date range and/or apply other filters for more targeted results.
⚠️ Important:
This search relies on an exact match of your company name as listed in your Excavator Details.
To ensure the most accurate results:
All users should enter the company name in exactly the same way,
Avoid commas, abbreviations, or formatting variations, which can trigger the “Limited Results Warning” error.
💡Pro Tip:
If your organization uses multiple company names or if you're unsure which version to use:
Deselect “My Company Tickets”
Use the Excavator field to manually enter and search for each company name variation individually.
Date Range Searches
Choose from a preset range (e.g., “Tickets Within Last 10 Days”) or use the Manual setting to select custom start and end dates.
Maximum range: 31 days per search.
Available data: 4 full calendar years, including the current year to date.
Tips for Effective Searching
If no results appear, try narrowing the date range or adding more filters.
Use the Toggle Search Panel to hide/unhide the search criteria panel for easier navigation.
Avoid overly broad searches (e.g., only by county) to reduce load times.
