The Round Signups Center comprises the round signup settings for a round within an event/league. Each round within an event league will have its own Round Signup Center. These settings will be used when using Round Signup and Invitations and Round Signup with Payments. You can find these settings within your event/league by navigating to Round > Round Signups Center.
Your Round Signup Center is divided into four tabs:
General Settings
Round Signups Form (TM Club Premium & Association Customers Only)

General Settings
As previously mentioned, the Round Signups Center is comprised of round signup settings that are used for a specific round within an event/league. It is important to understand the design and content options within each tab.
This section details the "General Setting" tab in the Round Signup Center (as shown below).
Round Signups:
If you enable round signups, are golfers on the event/league roster able to register themselves and other member or guest for this round. Select the number of members and guests allowed to be registered (as shown below).
In the case of round signups, a member is anyone on your event/league roster. A guest is anyone not on your event/league roster. Some example scenarios:
You'd like to enable signup for a team 4-person scramble tournament round that is only open to members and requires the registrants to sign up an entire foursome. In the settings, you will want to set the minimum and maximum number of members to four.
You would like to set up signups for a member-guest tournament round. In the settings, select a minimum and maximum of 1 for member and guest registration.
Click Here for information on managing guests within an event/league.
Participant Limit:
When using round signups, you can also set a player limit for each round. Once the player limit has been reach for a round, all additional players will be added to a waitlist. For more details about using participant limits, Click Here.
Invitations:
You can automatically send email invitations to players with a valid email address when signups open. All emails will be sent within an hour of automatically opening signups. When using automatic invitations, you will need to take additional actions:
Set your Signup Open Date and time. You can do this from the Signup Open/Close tab (more details are provided later in this article).
Optionally create a custom invitation message under the Communication tab (more details are provided later in this article).
Social Round:
Generally used for leagues, this is a round without any golf tournament (Awards dinner, league meeting, etc). You can check the option for "Social Round" and invite members to attend.
Round Signups Form (TM Club Premium & Association Customers Only):
In the Round Signups Form, you will see your round custom field, allowing you to define what additional information is collected during signups. On the signups form, you can select the round custom fields to include on the form (as shown below). The fields can be optional or required to be answered. Re-order the field by clicking and dragging the elevator bars on the left of each field.
If you look at the screenshot above, you will see that the tee field is included in the form and must be answered. So, players must include their preferred tee to complete signups. To add, edit, or remove a round custom field, go to Rounds > Round Custom Fields. For more information on Roun Custom Fields, Click Here.
Signup Open/Close:
This section details the "Signup Open/Close" dates tab in the Round Signup Center (as shown below).
Use the calendar picker to select the date and time when signups will automatically open and close for this round. A couple of ways you can complete this:
Set both Signup Open and Close Dates: If you define both the signup open and close dates, the round signups will open automatically, with invitation email notifications sent. The round signups will automatically close on the selected date as well.
Only Set Signup Open Dates: If you only set an open date, the round signups will open automatically, with email notifications sent on the selected date. To close round signups, you will have to revisit this page and set a close date, or manually close signups from the Rounds tab (Rounds > Close Round Signups).
Only Set Signup Close Dates: If you only set a close date, the round signups will open immediately, and you will have to manually send invitation email notifications from the Rounds tab (Rounds > Send Round Signup Invitation). The round signups will automatically close on the selected date as well.
Leave Blank: If you leave both options blank, you will have to manually open and close round signup from the Rounds Tab and send invitation email notifications.
To Open signups go to Rounds > Open Free/Paid Round Signups.
To send invitation emails, go to Rounds > Send Round Signup Invitation.
To close signups go to Rounds > Close Round Signups.
Communications
When sending your round signup invitation, you may want to add a customized message to the standard email that is sent. If you want to customize the entire email, you can edit the "When golfer is invited to round..." email template in the Email Configuration. If you do configure the template, this will impact all future invitations as well. This custom message for the round will be used:
When sending the invitation manually, and it can be updated at the time of sending.
When you have checked the option in the General Settings tab of the Round Signups Center to "Automatically send invitations" to players with a valid email address when signups open.
Save Changes
After making edits to the Round Signups Center, click "Save" to apply the changes (as shown below).
Bulk Changes to Round Signups Center
If you are running an event/league with multiple rounds for which you will be using round signups, you can edit the Round Signups Center for multiple rounds at the same time. This allows you to apply the same Round Signup Center settings to multiple rounds without adjusting each round individually. To Bulk edit the Round Signups Center for multiple rounds, follow these directions:
Within your event/league, navigate to Calendar > Tabular View of Calendar.
Select the round(s) for which you wish to edit the Round Signups Center. Note: To edit all rounds, click "Select All."
In the dropdown, select "Configure Signup Form" (as shown below).
β
Click "Go," and you will be taken the Round Signups Center. You will also see a warning at the top of the center that you are getting the Signups Form for multiple rounds (as shown below).
β
Make the changes and click "Save" to apply the changes.
While the bulk update closely resembles the Round Signups Center when editing one round, one change will be seen when making changes to the Signup Open/Close tab. When making changes in the Signup Open/Close tab, you can schedule opening and closing based on a number of days before the round instead of selecting a specific date and time (as shown below).
Additional Options
Customizing the Automated Round Signup Emails:
Several automated emails (e.g., invitation, golfer signs up, cancellations, etc) may be sent to your players during round signups. These automated emails have a default message. If you'd like to customize the messages in these emails, you can visit the Email Configuration page (Golfers > Email Configuration > Round Signups). For more details on configuring emails, Click Here.
