Which order structure can I use?

We have 3 different types of orders that can be used to manage your logistics:

  • Material Orders

  • Transport orders

  • Sales Orders

Material Order

The root of the structure is the material order. A material order specifies where the order should be picked up, delivered, and which materials ( or parts ) should be transported. These are some of the features that can be used on material orders:

  • Consolidation settings: use filters to consolidate certain material orders into transport orders

  • ETA: follow up on ETA statuses per material order

Once the Material order is created, you can add it to a transport order and, if needed, a sales order. The transport order allows for the material order to be executed by a carrier and the sales order makes sure the material order can be billed to the right customer/supplier.


Transport Order

Transport orders are carrier-facing orders that allow for easy carrier allocation and communication. These are some of the features that can be used on the transport order side:


Sales Order

Sales orders are customer/supplier-facing orders that make it easier to communicate based on automated rules and send invoices. These are some of the features that can be used on the Sales order side:
