To personalize your profile, OPEN PORTAL feed, and Privacy Settings, go to MY-PORTAL (your personal profile) and enter Edit Mode. Follow the prompts given.

Remember to hit 'Save' as you make any adjustments
Your Display Name and User Name can only be edited in SETTINGS
Even if your Profile is "private" your 'Primary Focus' will still appear next to your name as a badge when you post in PORTAL.
You can only edit your MY-PORTAL Banner image on web or web browser (not the mobile app). See below for recommended dimensions!

💻 Web
Go to MY-PORTAL (get there by clicking 'MY-PORTAL' in the DOCK
Click on the 'Edit' Icon (to the right, below the banner)
Click into the available Menu Items
Make any adjustments, then hit 'Save'
Leave "Edit Mode" by Clicking the "Posts" Button

Personal Details
Here is where you can update your Description. There is a 500 character limit.
Focuses
Keep the description of your Focuses to ~30 characters for full visibility
Drag to reorder the Focuses and bring the Primary Focus to the top
Member Map
This is where you can customize your Member Map location or location shown in your profile.
Banner Options
In Edit mode you can adjust if your Date of Birth (month and date, and/or year) is shown or hiden.
On web, you can also update your Banner Image or Profile Picture.

Make Profile Private: if this is turned off, anyone can view your profile whether or not they are your 'Friend.' If this is turned on, only 'Friends' will be able to view your profile
Accept Direct Messages from Friends Only: If this is turned off, anyone can send you a Direct Message, where or not they are your 'Friend.' If this is turned on, there will be no way for someone to message you until they send a 'Friend Request' and you accept.
Hide Groups in MY-PORTAL: If this is turned off, anyone who has permission to view your profile (based on the option selected above) can toggle over to your 'Groups' tab to see what Groups you have joined. If this is turned on, anyone who has permission view your profile (based on the option selected above) will not see your 'Groups' list, even if they are your 'Friend.'
Hide Last Seen At: If this is turned off, we will not show your "online" status. If this is turned on, people will see your "online" status throughout the Platform, regardless of if you are 'Friends'
➡️ Recommend Image Sizes
For your Profile Banner we recommend 2460 x 338 pixels (Width x Height) -or- a 7.3:1 aspect ratio
For your Profile Picture we recommend 500x500 or a 1:1 aspect ratio

📖 Glossary
MY-PORTAL (Profile)—A user’s personalized profile with feed of My posts & shared posts (reposts). Your public identity in the app. Shows name, photo, location, tags and interests, badges, links, and your recent activity. Shown in the Member Directory and “My Portal,” with fields you can choose to display or keep private.
FOCUSES—Badges that Display your current and primary focuses of using the Platform. Your selections help you connect with other members who have the same Focus by curating your OPEN PORTAL feed.
PRIMARY FOCUS—The Focus Badge you mark as most important in Edit MY-PORTAL. This Focus Badges is then Display in your profile Banner and next to your name whenever you post in PORTAL.
Friend—By sending a friend request and accepting friend requests, you allow those members to view your profile (if it's Private), send Direct Messages (if only allowing DMs from Friends-only), and have that member's posts appear in MY-PORTAL.s
