This article will show you the steps to assign to your Schoology courses from Writable.
Note: You must have the 'Sign in with Schoology' option set up for your account to assign this way.
1. Log into Writable using the 'Sign in with Schoology' option.
2. Copy an assignment, or create your own.
3. Choose your Schoology course(s). You can assign to multiple Schoology courses at once.
❗ Note: All selected classes must be from the same source. Therefore, any classes that have not been imported from Schoology will not be available for selection.
4. Set the number of points the assignment will be worth in your Schoology grade book.
Tips!
Check the 'Hide from students until...' option to publish the assignment at a later date. Click here to read more about scheduling an assignment.
If you forget to check this box when first assigning, you can follow these steps to edit your assignment options and share to Schoology.
5. Then click 'Assign'.
Writable assignments assigned to Schoology classes will automatically be place inside your Schoology course. Your students can access their assignments inside their Schoology course or directly from app.writable.com. When you grade in Writable, scores will sync to your Schoology gradebook.
