Writable offers printable answer keys to select assignments. You can also view answers to close ended short response questions such as multiple choice, and answer keys for short and extended response if available.

Assignment Answer Keys
Many assignments such as Writing and Grammar Skills Mini Lessons and State Assessment Practice assignments contain short response question types, with answers and answer keys. If available, you can find answer keys on the 'Guide/Grade' page. You can also view and edit them from 'Manage Assignment'.
View Answer Key from Guide/Grade
Once you have assigned the assignment to students, you will be able to see answer keys under Guide/Grade.
From your My Assignments page, click on the assignment.
Click on an assigned class.
💡Tip: Not ready to assign to students? You can 'Assign to Me' and then click on the 'Assign to Me' class to view the Guide/Grade page.
From the assignment dashboard, click 'Guide/Grade' in the left menu. If available, you will see the Answer Key below the Prompt and Skills.
View and Edit Answer Key from Manage Assignment
The answer key can be viewed under Manage Assignment before assigning the assignment to students.
From the Explore section, navigate to your assignment and copy to My Assignments. From the assign page, click to Edit the assignment.
Scroll down to view any short response question types in your assignment, and click Edit Section. For a list of available question types, click here.
In the multi-response section editor, you will find answers for all short response questions, and answer keys if available for that assignment section.
Select the Extended Response section to view available answer keys.
Printable Answer Keys
Some Writable assignments have printable answer keys, such as differentiated instruction collections for elementary and middle school.
If available, you'll find an icon for Resources when selecting an assignment from the Explore Library. Click the Resources link to access printable answer keys.
If you have already copied the assignment, choose it from 'My Assignments' and then click the three-dot icon. External resources, including any available Answer Keys, will be available.
