Generate Image is a powerful tool that helps you create unique images (and even videos) based on your specific needs. Whether you need an ambient background or realistic portrait, simply describe what you want or use ready-made templates for inspiration.
How to Get Started:
Open the Instories app.
On the home screen, in the AI Tools section, tap See more 13 AI Tools.
In the AI Magic Tools section, select Generate Image.
How to Craft a Prompt:
1. At the bottom of the screen, enter a description of what you want to generate.
The more detailed your prompt, the more accurate the end result will be.
2. On the left side of the input field, you can:
• Add your own image to tweak, improve, or expand on your creation
• Add style references to guide the AI tool
3. Below the input field, choose the AI model. Instories Pro is selected by default, but you can also choose ChatGPT, Flux Kontext, Seedream 4, and others.
4. In the lower-right corner, select the image format: 9:16, 16:9, or 1:1.
5. Tap Style to set a visual style (for example, anime).
6. If you’ve already got an image ready, you can take it to the next level by choosing a template. Simply tap Template to get started.
How to Create a Video
The AI Picture tool can generate videos in addition to images.
To create a video, tap Image below the input field and switch the format to Video.

How to Start the Generation Process
1. Tap the arrow next to the input field to begin.
2. Before generating your image or video, the AI tool will ask you to confirm your current settings. Tap Yes to continue or Cancel to stop. If you'd like to make changes to your current generation, choose No, edit details.
3. Once the generation process begins, you’ll see an estimated completion time. You can stay on the screen or switch to another one — the process will keep running in the background.
How to Find Your Results
To view the results generated by the AI tool, navigate to one of the following sections:
Generate Image
Generate Video
Image Stylization
From there, tap the three-line icon in the top-right corner to open the full history of your prompts and view all generated results.
Important Notes
Each new request to the AI tool (including edits or refinements) uses credits or counts as a new generation.
If the generation process takes an unusually long amount of time or an error appears, contact customer support through the in-app chat.
Final Steps
Tap the finished image or video to access additional options:
AI Change — Generate a new version by refining your prompt.
Go to Templates — Add the generated media to one of the templates.
Animate — Turn your image into an animation (this requires additional generations or credits).
Share — Share your results through messengers or social networks.
Edit — Open the editor to customize your media with text, stickers, filters, animations, and more.
Delete — Remove the generated image (used generations or credits are not refundable).
To keep a result you like, tap Save in the top-right corner.
