In case you haven't heard, Backbone has the option to add Read-Only Users 📚
This role doesn't get all the same sweet benefits as a full fledged user, however you can still view and export in many areas of Backbone!
In order to change or add any ROU to your contract please contact the account management team. Once you have the green light 🟢 Just go into the Admin Section with an Admin Level user and you can switch the user role to Read-Only.
Things ROU can do:

Read-Only Users can export/download:

Component Utilization Reports
Product Size Specs
Product Files
Product BoMs

Read-Only Users can also create:

Things ROU can not do:
Cannot Create, Edit, or Upload Images for Products / Components
Cannot Create Tech Packs
Cannot Create Component Variants
Cannot Create, Edit, or Upload Images for Palettes / Swatches
Cannot Use the Blocks Module
Cannot Use the PoM Library
Cannot Use the Shared Folders Module
Cannot Use the BoM Template Library
Cannot Edit Line Sheets they are shared on
Cannot Edit Item Views they are shared on
Regardless of all the things ROU are unable to do, we believe you'll still find this to be a powerful feature.
