Bound grants you control over sharing your Stripe reader, allowing you to share access between schools and other organizations. For example, sharing access with another school will let their events to populate on your reader, allowing them to sell tickets from that reader.
Important: You must keep the Striper reader paired/connected to the school/organization that owns the reader.
If you're sharing a reader
In your school dashboard, go to the Business tab, then click Stripe.
Click the lightning bolt next to the connected account.
From the list, click the edit icon on the reader you're sharing.
Scroll down to the "Share Reader" section. Change the state if needed; search for the school by typing in their name.
Click Share.
Once you share the reader, it will display as pending below "Shared With."
You can revoke access to the shared reader at any time by clicking Remove.
If you're being shared a reader
You will need to accept the request from your Stripe account.
Go to Business, then click Stripe.
Click the lightning bolt next to the connected account.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and find "Readers shared with you."
Click the Authorize button on the shared reader.
You can also Reject shared readers if needed.
The sharing school can remove access to the reader at any time. Your organization may also remove the shared reader at any time.
