Record Cash Sales for an Event

Learn how to enter cash in Checkout, see cash in the Box Office, and close out cash after the event.

Enter cash sales in the Checkout so the event's cash total is tracked in the Box Office, just like cashless transactions. You can enter cash in bulk at the end of the night, or enter it each time someone comes through the gate.

This article assumes you have the Checkout open for the event from the Box Office (click Launch Checkout). For an overview of the Box Office, see Using the Box Office.

  3. Accept the cash, then click Complete Payment.

  1. In the Box Office, click Close out cash or + Record cash.

  2. Enter the cash and verify the total. For each step, see Use the Box Office, under Close Out Cash Sales.

    • After you verify, the event's status changes to Closed.
