Supplier Payments

What are supplier payments?

Supplier payments allow Business users to pay vendors and contractors directly through Chexy.

This payment category is designed specifically for business-related expenses — such as inventory purchases, professional services, utilities, and more.

Who can make payments to suppliers?

Supplier Payments are available only to users with a Business account. They can be made with Visa or Mastercard. American Express can be used only when your supplier falls into an Amex-eligible category — see the list in Paying bills with an American Express card on Chexy. Pharmaceutical suppliers aren't eligible for Amex.

What types of payments qualify?

Supplier payments can be used for legitimate business expenses, including:

  • Vendor invoices

  • Contractor payments

  • Professional services (e.g., legal, accounting, marketing)

  • Inventory purchases

  • Business utilities

  • SaaS and recurring software tools

All payments must be business-related and compliant with our Terms of Service.

How to make a supplier payment

  1. Add a new payment from your Home page.

  2. Enter your recipient's name and click “Add new.”

  3. Select Supplier as the payment category.*

  4. Choose your recipient’s preferred delivery method and enter the required payment details.

  5. Review and schedule your payment.

We’ll process and deliver the funds according to the delivery method you selected.

*The Supplier payment category is only available on Business accounts.
