A Nameless Card is a physical Deblock Visa card that doesn't have your name printed on it.
Don't worry — it's completely safe. The card is inactive and can't be used until you link it to your Deblock account in the app and complete verification. Until then, it's just a piece of plastic.
Where are Nameless Cards available?
Nameless Cards are currently available in French overseas territories, starting with 🇵🇫 French Polynesia and 🇳🇨 New Caledonia.
They're designed to get you a physical card faster than waiting for postal delivery.
How do I get a Nameless Card?
You can pick one up through a controlled distribution channel:
A Deblock activation event
A selected partner or merchant pickup location (French Polynesia — locations coming soon)
Once merchant locations are confirmed, eligible users will receive an email with all the details on where to collect their card.
Do I need a Deblock account to get a card?
Already have an account? Great — you can link the card directly in the app as soon as you pick it up.
Don't have an account yet? You'll need to download the Deblock app, create an account, and complete verification before the card can be activated.
How do I link my Nameless Card?
Linking your card takes just a minute:
Open the Deblock app
Go to Cards
Select Link a physical card
Scan the QR code on the back of the card
Follow the on-screen steps to finish
Why does the card only show the last 4 digits?
The card is intentionally designed to keep your full details off the plastic. Once your card is linked, you can view all your card details securely inside the app.
Can I use the card online even though there's no name on it?
Yes! Once linked and activated, your Nameless Card works just like any regular card.
If an online merchant asks for a "name on card", simply enter the name on your Deblock profile.
What if I lose my card before linking it?
If your card is lost before it's been linked, it should still be inactive — so no one can use it.
That said, contact Deblock Support right away so the team can help you secure your account and advise on next steps.
Can someone else use my card if they find it?
No. The card is non-transactable until it's linked to a verified Deblock account in the app.
